I erased all of my books from the internet
The story of how, and why, I published 10 of my books... and then erased all of them from the internet.
Hey there,
I erased all 10 of my books from the internet. Here's why.
This all started when I was 7 years old and wrote my first novel. Now, I’m 18 and starting a publishing company.
Over the past decade, I’ve written 12 books and self-published 10 of them. They sold hundreds of copies, won awards, and started me on my path toward a career as an author and creator.
And then, last year, I unpublished all of them.
In my latest video, the first episode in a new series about starting my independent publishing company Winter Forest Press, I share the story of my early publishing attempts... and why they failed miserably.
Watch now at youtube.com/@graysontaylornyc. I'd love to hear what you think in the comments.
I Erased All 10 of My Books from the Internet
This video is the first episode in the Publishing Project, a new video series from yours truly. In each episode on YouTube, I'll take you behind the scenes of my publishing company Winter Forest Press.
Future episodes will dive into how I'm writing and publishing my upcoming novel, Catalyst of Control, plus how I've actually gone about starting Winter Forest Press as a company.
With these videos, I hope to incorporate a bit more of my filmmaking and storytelling abilities than the usual writing tips videos.
I'm excited to share this journey with everyone. Subscribe if you want to see future episodes—there's much more to come.

(I’ve been trying to learn to play it on the piano; easier said than done, considering how fast it gets.)

(Arguably the go-to authority for all things habit-building or breaking.)

(My favorite James Bond film, with some of the best cinematography in the franchise.)
